Welcome to Room 11. My name is Mrs. Britt. I am excited to spend this year with your child. It is hard for me to believe that this is my 22nd year teaching in Issaquah. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade all in Issaquah. Mr. Britt and I graduated from the University of Puget Sound have been married for 30+ yrs. and have two children: Shannon, 27 and Eric, 24 and a daughter-in-law Katie. First grade is my favorite because that is where the children discover the magic of reading independently. I also get to prolong my own childhood as I participate in all our fun activities. Room 11 is my favorite place to be.
