Home Journals Home Journals are essentially our weekly classroom newsletters, but written by each student for his/her family. Parents are expected to read and write back to his/her child, or sign the Home Journal if they have a verbal discussion. This helps students become more clear in their explanations and also allows families to really talk about, and participate in, their child's learning.
