Global Reading Challenge
In partnership with the King County Library System, teams of 4th and 5th graders compete in a game format with other King County schools on their knowledge of 10 books chosen by the librarians of KCLS. (See the KCLS Global Reading website for details ). The titles selected provide an opportunity to read books with a variety of reading levels, genres, and ethnic diversity. This year, under the guidance of librarian Carol Hogan and fifth grade teacher, Misty Buhler, Discovery has 3 teams competing!
